Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

As a citizen-journalism platform, Contributors are expected to uphold the same core principles that govern licensed Philippine broadcasters under the KBP Broadcast Code, adapted for community reporting:

• Report facts truthfully, without slanting, adding, omitting, or distorting them.
• Correct errors promptly and visibly once identified.
• Present opposing sides of public issues fairly, without personal bias.
• Protect the dignity and privacy of minors in any content submitted.
• Respect human rights and the presumption of innocence.
• Do not plagiarize or infringe the intellectual property of others.
• Do not accept payment or favors in exchange for coverage.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Pangasinan.TV a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Service and, once approved through our moderation process, on Pangasinan.TV's own official accounts on third-party platforms (currently YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok), for as long as the content remains published.

All submissions are reviewed by a Moderator or Administrator before publication. Submissions may be approved, sent back for revision, or blocked. Administrators may permanently block content that violates these Terms.

Prohibited content includes, without limitation: content that is defamatory, unlawful, or violates the rights of others; content promoting restricted categories (e.g. tobacco, alcohol advertising outside applicable regulations); harassment or hate speech; and knowingly false information presented as news.

A Super Administrator may temporarily or permanently block an account found to violate these Terms. A temporary block may be appealed; a permanent block applies where an appeal is not resolved in the account holder's favor.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pangasinan.TV is not liable for user-submitted content, which reflects the views of the Contributor, not the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pangasinan.TV's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
